I think you're a bit too far into that six pack. It was the income tax, not the sales tax. wink.gif

Looks like greyhound racing is history here, too.

View Postso now we lose 3000 more jobs and they will spend even more then they already do. the state keeps control of the towns.

What 3000 jobs?

Wonderland was already about to be posessed by the town.

Carney is a jackoff who was ready to ditch the dog track when there was talks of casinos and begs the state and town endlessly for money to keep afloat.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

no ways it's 3k jobs. an old friend used to own a kennel, those are a few minimum wage jobs, no big loss.

the sport is dead anyway, it's just a big keno parlor for drunks these days. and I voted to keep them and was once a degenerate gambler with fond memories of the tracks when they were a good take and not the cesspools they now are.

there's plenty of back room video parlors in Revere and eastie bars to keep the track workers employes sweeping up needles and crack vials insttead of dog crap and doggie stimulant syringes.

I haven't been to Raynham in 30 years. Used to be a decent place--you could even take a date there. Taunton was even nicer.

Kind of sad that Swifty and The Chief won't be around any more. And Rusty died with Taunton.
