achez
On your way to the voting booths think about this ...it speaks volumes about the man. 'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides,' Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.

Gmofftarki
Interviewed after an Obama campaign event in Sarasota, Florida, Peggy emotionally summarized what it means to her for Barack Obama to be president: "It was the most memorable time of my life. It was a touching moment, because I never thought this day would happen. I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, if I, if I help him [barack], he's gonna help me!" Quote:Originally Posted by Mark LevinLiberals tell you the government sucks, and they want more of it! Have some self respect and at least pick a half way clever Reagan lie instead of a really stupid Bush lie. You know like "tax cuts raise revenue!
