On your way to the voting booths think about this ...it speaks volumes about the man.

'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides,' Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.

Interviewed after an Obama campaign event in Sarasota, Florida, Peggy emotionally summarized what it means to her for Barack Obama to be president: "It was the most memorable time of my life. It was a touching moment, because I never thought this day would happen. I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know, if I, if I help him [barack], he's gonna help me!"

Not even a GOOD hoax. Have some self respect and at least pick a half way clever Reagan lie instead of a really stupid Bush lie. You know like "tax cuts raise revenue!

Of all the preposterous assumptions of humanity over humanity, nothing exceeds most of the criticisms made on the habits of the poor by the well-housed, well-warmed, and well-fed. - Herman Melville

Reagan wasn't the first one to make that statement.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was wink.gif

I prefer peace. But if trouble must come, let it come in my time, so that my children can live in peace.
