bradW
Republican or Democrat? Black or White? Catholic or Jewish? Rich or Poor? none of it matters. we all have the right, or should i say the duty to vote tomorrow. there are no excuses. i don't care who you vote for, just vote. men and women, many of them, died for our freedoms, mainly the freedom to choose our own government. show the brave men and women of our military the respect they deserve by acting on the freedoms they provide us each and every day. past, present and future ok, im off my box... When we judge or criticize another person, it says nothing about that person;it merely says something about our own need to be critical.-Author Unknown-

BS4Shore
just returned from the poles, did not get a chance to vote. The lines here are crazy, showed up at 6:45 and the line was hundreds and hundreds of people long. I stood in line for 40 minutes and barely moved 5 feet. They are trying to vote 2 precincts in one gymnasium and the confusion is incredible. I do not get it with the senior citizens wanting to vote first thing, they seem to be the ones slowing the lines up big time. I think that retired people should not be voting till after 10am to give us people that are trying to get in and vote before work a chance. I've been so looking forward to voting, maybe after work. stryperStalker
Boston wasn't too bad. I got there at 7, and was out by 7:40. I actually got to cut about 75 people in line because my precinct didn't have a line.

iphish
vote with intelligence, not emotion. Ignore the signs, the letters to the editor-what your coworker says, instead find out what issues are important to you/family and where your candidate stands on those issues or have voted on before. There are some very strong fundamental differences between Republican and democrat- most are not being spoken about because of the interferrence being run with the economy and global financial news. Look nothing is going to be a perfect fit for your beliefs- however if you intend to vote for Obama, just because the polls says he will be the likely winner, then please don't vote and just tell people you did. Oh and by the way shame on you, please take a step to the side. You have had 2 years to do this, nothing worse than a uneducated voter in my book. anticipating long lines, parking and what not- I voted yesterday via absentee ballot....I am going to do it from now on. new braintree
10 minutes to vote in Somerville. Everyone was smiling, energized. Can't remember anything like it. It's a great day. During this fight, I've seen a lot of changing, in the way you feel about me, and in the way I feel about you. In here, there were two guys killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change!
