I never said anything of the sort. Don't you ever get anything right? He said that his grandmother was "gravely ill" and that he wanted to visit her before it was too late (in so many words). He also said he didn't want to happen with her the same as what happened with his own mother - that he didn't go see her before she died. What I questioned was since she was gravely ill, why not leave immediately? He announced her condition on a Monday morning, but didn't leave until late Thursday. He waited 4 days after his "gravely ill" announcement. And during that time he yukked it up with Ellen and made a number of other appearances during that 4 day time period. I know if my grandmother was gravely ill half a world away, I (and most others, I assume) would go to her immediately. And that's what I questioned.
