Charm City Bohman
Am interested in buying a camera to take out with me kayak fishing. Was wondering if there were any recommendations you all had for a kayak fishing camera. I am worried about anything that is less than a dive camera or a fully submersible camera. Also I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for mounting a camera to your kayak. I have a scotty triple rod mount and was wondering if anyone had found a way to fit a camera mount into the rod holder hole. Bohman
carl4x4
I have an Olympus, and love it. It's submersable, and impact resistant. I have an older modle that can go down to 10', but the new ones can go 30'. You can take under water pics, and video too. Make sure you put a float on it so it doesn't get lost. There are a few different do it your self setups for mounting on the yak. I will see if I can find, and post the scotty one for you. Tight lines, and a screeeeming reel. carl4x4
the olympus stylus sw 1030 its going for around 289. Just the dive case for a reguler camera will cost you that much, and the olympus is half the size.
Mullet Miller
I just picked up the Olympus 850SW, on advice from members here in earlier post. Nice little camera with some cool features as well as being water and shock resistant.

Shipwreck
Olympus 770 here and after 2 hard seasons on surf jetty and yak it is perfect. My buddy picked up the 10 megapixel He is a pro photog and says he can make images just as good on the olympus as he can with his studio stuff. His images are breathtaking.
