how many of u anglers out there are into coral reef aquariums?i've been fishing all my life but i also enjoy my aquarium almost too much.any1 into this amazing hobby?if not u should be.not only for the learning experience,but as a challenge to yourself and a totally unique part of the ocean that is right before your eyes...

Fifty years ago I bred dwarf sea horses in a pickle jar and have had aquariums ever since. I have always kept away from reef tanks because of the work involved. If you have a lot of time go for it.

I used to have a bunch of reef tanks, 75gal was the big one. Unfortunately theres something in the boston water that makes hair algae grow like crazy! I used to DI filter my water, never could get the HA to not grow, although I probably should have been doing more water changes, or something like that.

 

I would like to start another one in my office though, maybe a 10g, just have to get around to doing it though.
