jerseydave
Nice work and they do look great. Just one question though, if you are gonna target boofishes with them wouldn't it be a little easier to unhook the monsters if you had one large siwash hook rather than a treble? I ask this because the other day I had the joy of attempting to remove 2 trebles from the INSIDE of a giants mouth after he inhaled a small needlefish. It took myself and a friend and a bit of caution as well as a few minutes. At any rate......... nice work! Charleston
They look great! Next time try a 6/0 siwash and a nice big tail loop (to allow the hook to fold way back) during the cast. The siwash is much easier to remove from the pissedoff bluefish I am old but I'm slow.
fishon8
smitty919, when i am down that way berkley and asbury shows we can meet up and swim some plugs and do a little trading i test all my plugs and my sons, freinds they all work and swim i live on a lake, test them there in the housatonic river, milford harbor ,lordship beaches, been to the rhode island plug builder bash my bag was full slammed some blues there went to the long island sol fling fished there. so yes they all swim and do what they are supposed to i always have differant weights and lips and wire on me i bring unpainted lures with me fully rigged and if i dont like the action i will change the lip ,weight as needed to make them swim correctly. i put a lot of time and effort into the plugs i build . as far as the hooks i put trebels on them because i am out of the single hooks and i will tie some nice feather tails on them they cast like a 2-oz pencil and zig zag on top if you work the plug or just reel them in and they swim like a pencil. Terry Mac
Sweet........ The village, which had stood for maybe 1,000 years, didn't know we were coming that day. If they had, they would have run. boB was at the eye of our rage. And through him, our Captain Ahab. He would set things right again. That day, we loved him.
