In any event, even though the score is pretty low right now, I don't think either team's defense can count on stopping the respective offenses right now and the score will balloon by a few scores before this is over (Hopefully with NE on top). But unless they get this three and out, it's over. On defense, they did it with smoke and mirrors though - visually, it looked like Manning could move at will, but they only scored 18 points...I think the Pats D got an assist from their own offense with those long drives. Wasting 2 timeouts in the second half. Not much "genius" there. Also the right line judge was definitely bought off. Spotted the ball a good 1/2 yard back on the penalty play and the play before it. Not to mention the 2 point conversion (which was too early to go for). Worst year for NFL officiating I can remember. I'll have mine on the rocks. Sort of a complete flip flop reversal of last year when they played Baltimore and got stuffed on a fourth and short near the end of the game when they were losing - only to be negated by a TO call by Baltimore.
