geeman
I think I've narrowed my choice of a reel to match my Tsunami Airwave 11'. I am thinking either Daiwa Emblem Pro 5000/5500 or Quantum Cabo 60. Both weight about the same and difference in cost is about $10 - $20 dollars. I've read good things about both reeels. FrankG
I'd go with the Emblem 5500. LIBBA #1926 MSA #1760 "Each on his rock transfixed, the sport and prey"

pauley1
My Emblem Z 5000 is mounted on a 11ft MH Airwave. Balanced nicely. With 30 or 40lbs braid, you got yourself a sweet distance casting machine. Isn't the Cabo 60 heavier then the Emblems?

The Cabo is heavier by 0.1 oz.

Punk Freud
Hands down, the "MAGLOKâ„¢magnetic Continuous Anti-reverse" is a piece of crap. ANY grease, salt, corrosion in the "MAGLOK" will cause it to malfunction, meaning the anti-reverse wont work USELESS GIMMICK Good luck trying to set a hook Destroying psychological barriers to the stateless society of free people since 1966. ANY grease, salt, corrosion in the "MAGLOK" will cause it to malfunction, meaning the anti-reverse wont work USELESS GIMMICK Good luck trying to set a hook i have had trouble with my cabo 50 anti reverse. but i fixed it verry easily. and grease or oil didnt foul it up. a lil rust did. easily removed once taken a part. the reason why it got rusty is because i dropped it and dunked it in water repeatedly. other than the anti rreverse fouling up (once again fixed rather easily), it has worked great. i know the cabo is not a watertight/waterproof reel and it was my fault it got dunked. but is the emblem watertight.??????? i recomemd the cabo over the emblem 500000000000blablablawhatever, any day.
