smellfish
Hi Guys, Trying to restore a few old Luxor 3LA reels. I want to get the bodies powder coated (I can get the powder) and get the spools anodized/hard coat (hopefully silver tone). Any suggested shops to do this work over the winter? Thanks, Smellfish (Ray) Don't stop ... Retrieving ...

smellfish
Hey Apex, If you could recommend a few good shops in NJ or PA that would be good too. In MA/RI , I could drive to discuss but the phone works. Have the shops you know ever done any reel work? Regards, Ray (smellfish) Don't stop ... Retrieving ... Apexkeeper
I don't know any places that would have experience with reels exactly... But parts are parts, doesn't really matter as long as your not expecting them to do any disassembly work. Â Diversatech in Ewing, NJ does great work. I do not know however if they will do one piece at a time.
UPSmanMatt
Over the course of a few years I had a ton of race car parts powder coated.  New England Industrial Coatings in Worcester. (508) 754-1066  50 Lagrange St, Worcester, MA  Super nice guys, they have thousands of colors. They do thousands of pieces at a time, but will take work from the little guys. (At least they did when I dealt with them) "In RI there are clowns and serious people.
