What is the action of the Dee Darter versus a traditional darter?

BM’s Dee darter is unlike any other darter I have ever used in that it has a very wide “swing” or dart.

Anyone have luck with this color?23223378-3862-470F-A232-33A48F4112AF.jpeg.41ba806897f5067f11a68870986f11c8.jpeg

I have a cowboy jr. in weakfish that, has caught more fish than any other cowboy I've thrown. Maybe it's a confidence thing who knows.

Looking forward to throwing this one in the spring 15781893003278954321865369300492.jpg.8ede0f15bb8aba578817707f7eb4b82a.jpg

Here's a question, is this pattern still considered weakfish? 15781895354901034203708699796117.jpg.b6c014cbd005e7e30368bb2ec6c3b0aa.jpgits more of a bronze than gold back and instead of a faint orange lateral line. It has a way bolder, almost red line down the center? I think this is a newrun 2oz.

that color came from danny pichney back in the 70's...simply called "gold tones"..some fisherman gave it the name "weakfish" which is not it's true name.

When I ordered that color from Danny I referred to it as "Gold Herring" as the gold color replaced the light blue color on Danny's Herring pattern. Sometimes the belly was white, sometimes creme and sometimes looked more of a "yellowed varnish" type of color but they were all ordered the same. Likely others called it a different name but "Internet Weakfish" is a new name for an old pattern
