40 minutes on a grander, that's puttin the screws to a fish! would love to see one of them before I die. Looking for two decades and I haven't broke 500 yet. Helluva fish, way to go!

i'd say about 18-19 feet. if the angler is 6'0 tall...

The reason the fight was so short is that they obviously backed the boat down on the fish so as not to loose him. Although Hemmingway would have scoffed at the tactic, it's one hell of a fish!

I've seen a charter boat back down on fish and once the double line was on the reel ,shift into low gear and catch 3 giant tuna in less than an hour!
