Arra 1322 and 4 1/8 oz popper

Doe anyone know if I can throw the 4 1/8 oz Tsunami talking popper with this rod. It's rated to 5, but I thought I'd ask any users if they have done it. I really hope I can. I want to experiment with it.

I have thrown over 5 ozs with my factory 2 pc 1322.... its was a slow 2 o`clock toss....made me nervous

Should not be any problem at all. When I jig the ditch I throw 4 oz. cripple herrings and bucktails with pork rind all the time. I've thrown 5 oz. jigs with it. But it is a lot of work and will were you down quickly. If that rod will put up with Ronnie throwing a 4 or 5 oz. jig with it. I would not worry. You'll never be able to get the power into the rod like he can. I've known Ronnie for years and he can really crank on the power when he wants to.

I don't generate Ron's power either, but I'm no slouch
