Another new guy (long time lurker)

I just found out recently that I work in the same building as another member of this site. I don't want to reveal any identies, but I will say He carries a white bucket but would not be mistaken for a googan. I found SOL from the sticker he has on his back window. Anyway, I've been inspired to finally post after over a year of lurking.

 

I grew up in RI and on Cape Cod, and have fished both but only fished the Canal once at 9 years old where I received some much needed advice from an old timer there. Maybe I'll get back soon to put it to use.

 

Lately I've been fishing from my boat off the Cape (Nantucket Sound side) and last year decided to start pursuing some more shore action. I live in Westford, so I've tried Plum Island and some North Shore spots and still fish the Cape. I seem to be a Bluefish magnet.

 

I figured I'd finally jump in, I've learned a heck of a lot lurking here and finally hooked my first Bass from shore last September. Hopefully I'll return some knowledge in the future.

 

Pleasure to be aboard such a fine vessel.

I've still got mine. It's from the Mason Jar in Harwich. It still smells like pickles.
