Not to sound like a smart arse, but this is stuff you should be asking your builder. cwm13.gif If he/she doesn't know what reel seat is best for the rod there building for you than your better of finding yourself a new builder.

Your builder will know - just like he'll know what type and size guides and grips to use. My guess is the seat will probably be a Fuji DPSM or DPSD. He'll determine what size best fits the blank and holds the reel. Go with your builder's experience and advice. (You're paying for it). wink.gif

I agree with Surfcaster but it is always a good idea when buying custom to know what you want as well. It is the whole raison d'etre for buying custom. Otherewise you may as well go buy off the shelf and save some serious money. No short cut to knowledege. Start reading books and reading the stuff hear and on other rod building boards. Takes time but worth it. After a while you won't need a pro builder you will be doing the making yourself and mostly a whole lot better to.
