i have a large removable cooler rack but the winch on the front of my rig will make this difficult to rig up again.i never liked the square cooler for keeping bunker anyway.before that i used a plastic 55 gal can made by a friend (RIP Bruce Cutler).

this worked great but i carried it inside my cherokee and saltwater always got everywhere and took a toll on my old rigs sheetmetal.

i would like to build something round and keep it outside.

any pix for inspiration?

how about building a square box / receiver to put the barrel in and leave it outside the truck?

I mounted a small wood platform off the front of my jeep wrangler. I strapped the well down and ran a zip cord with a plug from my battery to the 12 volt pump. I plugged the pump in when I wanted to use it. It worked great I would put a live striper in it then go weigh it in and release it. The only picture I have shows you a small portion of the well but gives you a good idea.
