Johnny Cash hell yes! - his songs might not get airplay every day, but every time I hear some of them I get chills down my spine. True American icon, graduate of the "school of hard knocks" - Dark

i am going to have to break down and buy that movie so that i can watch it one day.

when we were in alaska last summer, all of the offshore boats we went on seemed to have an endless supply of johnny cash, and that's all they played... all day long.

good thing i like johnny cash.

plus, it really annoyed mr. annoying on the one trip.

A Great movie about a very interesting man. Two of my favorite Cash songs: Sunday Morning Coming Down and September When It Comes.

His autobiographies are also worth a look.

Great movie - saw it first on a flight.

Will see it again someday.

Saw it on the flight down to Disney last year, came back and bought the soundtrack.

My kids even like it. icon14.gif

READ the books.

The stories put the movie to shame.

Johnny Cash thought up Blue Suede Shoes (he says).

The only fishing he ever liked was running trot lines for carp and catfish.

On and on and on!

Kris Kristoferson

An under rated singer/performer. Anyone have a recommendation on a CD. A movie on HIS life would sure be interesting! Great writer too.

I really enjoyed this movie as well, its a movie I just leave on whenever I come across it and watch it over and over. I also think that Joaquin Phoenix does a pretty good job singing, sounds pretty good. Reese is pretty adoreable in the movie, she's single now too! biggrin.gif Never listened to Johnny Cash before seeing this movie...now when his songs come up on the radio, I stay tuned in.
