Lake Assunpink Reports?

I was thinking of heading up there friday with the kayak to try and jig up some panfish. Has anyone been up there recently. Also is the bait shop still open outside of the park? I might stop and get some shinners to better my chances. Thanks, Rollcast

Not an Assunpink report, but I did get my canoe out on Saturday in a central Jersey lake in the 70+ degree weather and between me and a buddy we got 10 fish to the boat. bass and pickeral. bring a few spinnerbaits with you to the lake
