Chad Pennington Comeback Player of the Year

I was going to Title this thread "EAT ME"

for all you who wrote him off and disliked his lack of arm strength.

He is the runaway winner of the AP comeback player of the year

and he finished second in the AFC QB ratings at 95+

I can't figure out is why Pat fans are still blowing off the Jets for this Sunday. This has to be the most pressure the Pats have ever had to play with - thanks to your coach being an idiot and creating a contraversy with Mangini - and too late with the back handed compliments now.

BillChick should have taken this team more seriously and shown some respect to the coach when he was beaten. Now he's gotta deal with David and his slingshot that created two 1000 yard receivers.

Don't you people from Boston get sick of NY ruining your parties?

Ahh how many SB rings do the modern Jets own? The Pats have three, I repeat, THREE! so do what you do best!beatin.gif

I see you are all ready to rest on you laurels and accept defeat this season. I rest my case.

"This has to be the most pressure the Pats have ever had to play with"

BWAHAHAHA

I'm sure Mangina will make it a good game but not quite the biggest pressure cooker in team history smile.gif

I guarantee BillChick is sweating this one out. He will lose sleep; nightmares of being upset by one of his own.

All season he refused to acknowledge Mangini, refused to call him by name, and then praising Herm Edwards and key players on the Jets for the team's success.

I think he is love with Mangini.

He is mad, scorned, hurt.

And probably because Mangini never complimented him on those angel wing west-village sweat tops.

This game could go either way, I still like the Jets chances, but I see them losing by a TD.

Chad Pennington finally makes it through a season healthy and you guys have proclaimed him to me the next Dan Marino...

give me a break

think colts,

think colts

last time Jets made the playoffs with a healthy Pennington

think colts

go ahead a scoff at Chad

let me hear once again how he has no arm

tell again how the Jets will go 4 - 12

tell me again about your mighty pats,

your rings,

your hof qb,

your system,

your coach,

your destiny.

sleep well tonight

if you can,

'cause mangini has your playbook

Congrats to Chad. icon14.gif

I'm not going to predict a win for the Jets, but the spread is a joke.

IF the Jets do win, does Belichick cold shoulder Mangini again? There is ENORMOUS pressure on Belichick to win. Losing a playoff game at home for the first time since 1978 to Mangini will blow a giant hole in his dynasty. OTH, the Jets have exceeded all expectations and even if they get blown out, the season was a success. Edge to the Jets in the psychological aspect of this game.
