Well, since guys were whining the ORIGINAL time people were posting, about how BORING it was, I figured the same still applied. Or is it different now that Surf guys started Mystery Fish. You're only about 100 fish behind the ORIGINAL Mystery Fish threads, so you guys have you're work cut out for you.

It looks like the offspring of an illicit cod/pollack behind the kelp type relationship...except this one spent too many seasons chasing parked boats in some marina icon25.gif

Seems "basslike", except for the head

Looks like a snook to me. Maybe a black snook, blackfin snook, common snook, fat snook, little snook, mexican snook, tarpon snook, thin snook, white snook, or yellowfin snook.
