JohnS
What is the minimal tire size that you can get away with doing the 4x4 thing on the beach? If a suburu could go on the beach I would assume this can go on as well. All comments appreciated. JohnS
JEFFSOD
Lack of a low range gear would be more of an issue than tire size in my opinion. Soft sugary sand of the outer beaches bogs vehicles down. Airing down to 10 pounds may make if feasible though.
Bob Thomas
John, I believe that the minimum size is 225/70's. As far as the Subaru is concerned...I was very turned off (and irate) with a Subaru owner last year. Seems he went to the Mission Bell side to fish. As he was leaving, he could not make it up the ramp to get back to the road. Tore up the ramp so bad, my Jimmy couldn't make it. After about an hr. or so of repairs done by myself, it was back in shape. Seems that the Subaru just was not meant for that side. Not sure on the other side, though. Hope this helped...sort of ------------------ Bob Thomas RThomas61@aol.com Is it spring time yet?!?!?! Bob ThomasSOL#
