Fished out of shark river today up to Sandy Hook Albies no where to be found.

Only 8 ounce blues. NJ...the downward spiral.

Has anyone seen them lately?

SRF you should have been ther friday

quite anice bite of albies. one snapped my line and I saw quite a few lost and landed.

people were watching from the bridge the water so clear, and they were breakin water all over the place.the one guy did real well with a small bucktail, they were feedin on pods of spearing. I went back saturday at sunset and nada, might have been the storm, or the cold snap but pound for pound they are

a "reel pleaser"

Alberts were in great numbers in SRI "Shark River Inlet" on Friday Afternoon. I watched a guy with Fly gear land probably 7 or 8 albies while I was there. I tried all my small metal, and teasers, but I only got blues. It was great to watch the albies slashing through the water. It was a rush. I just wish I could have connected with one. I also went back on Saturday for sunrise, but nothing around but bait, Lot's of it! Tried Sunday, but nothing but a couple small blues for me. I hope I get another chance. Good luck to ya....and Meeeeee!!!!

There there on Saturday (5-6:30 PM). Just needed a boat to hook up with. Also they were about 300-400-yards from the surf. Very skitterish. And yes size makes a difference. Be aware of what they are feeding on

Checked conditions this morning for the Northern Ocean County surf, and albies were spread over a wide range. In close, casting range, and outside as well. Did not have my pole. This was about 7:30.
