Wetsuit Questions

What's up guys? I have a couple of questions regarding wetsuits and would appreciate any help. I'll be using it this fall for the mecca. What thickness do you get. Do you get full 1 pc, farmer johns? Wetsuit socks or booties? What type of cleats, regular korkers strapped or wading type shoes? Any particular brand you've found stands up to the rocks? Average price paid for the suits. Thanks in advance guys. As usual I'll be out to the big M a ton these next couple of months but I need to step it up these year and start swimming. Thanks again, Eric

biggrin.gif I use a 7mm titanim lined wetsuit with a hood (pm me and i will tell you where to get them for $129 on sale right now, usually $350 or more). Also I use the lace up corkers and keep extra laces with me in case I snap one. They fit better than anything else I have used and you can put em over any kind of boot. Also, wear neoprene socks! When the wind is really rippin I wear a goretex shell over the wetsuit to add a little warmth once you get up on the rock your headed for. If you are skishing only forget the jacket of course. Some guys wear gloves, but my hands never get cold, so I dont - trial snd error, youll figure it out.
