  1. Hi, I broke the tip of my TFO rod and I was wondering if anyone replaced their rod with the warranty and how did you do it? I purchased my rod from Tomos tackle in salem, MA and I still have the receipt. Can I just go back to Tomos tackle show the receipt and get a replacement or do I have to go through TFO customer service? any feedback would help. thanks!
  2. Now, I don't own a Van Staal and don't plan on buying one for a long time. But, I thought I read somewhere that you had to pay VS $50 a year to maintain your service/warranty even if you don't want your reel serviced that year. Is this true? If so, it's almost like them taxing you to own one of their reels. If it is true, IMO you have to be an idiot to buy one.
