    I know this has been talked about many times. I simply need some clarification. I've seen the specs on websites. J-Braid, 8 Strand, 30lb - this is in fact thinner than 30lb super slick? Meaning I can hold bottom with less lead? Is it in turn weaker? Sufix 832/Fireline - ive seen posts where people swear by this. Is it because of the lack of wind knots? Is it a stronger line than Jbraid/Super Slick? Meaning 20lb of fireline would be the strength of 30lb super slick? I fish party boats out of free port and montauk. Fluking, tog, striped bass. I try to keep the gear light, and would like to use as little lead as possible while still maintaining braid strength. Thanks.
