So I own a few Stella’s 2- 20k and 1-30k, love and trust them. Wouldn’t trade them for any other reel. Now, I have not fished with one, but I have got my hands on the TP’s a few times. They are unbelievably smooth and have nearly identical drag ratings to the Stella. Obviously not made in all the sizes as the Stella is. Can anyone actually tell me in detail what the actual differences between the two are, other than color, the name, and the sizes they come in? For 1/2 the price, if you’re in the market for a reel in the sizes offered for the TP and the Stella, why choose a Stella other than the name? Again, Stella owner here. Have also owned Saltiga’s.

Only used 3-4 times on my boat. The reel is like new . I have 2 of these and would like to trade for another Stella SW 10K-20K size, 2013 model or newer. Or maybe a Saltiga. I need a larger reel, more capacity and drag. Only mark I can find on the reel is a tiny mark on the base of the spool where it looks like a nick from a razor or something when putting the line on. Comes with box, bag, shims, and line cover.

For sale: Very well taken care of Stella 5000SW, with 6000 JDM spool. Platinum serviced by Shimano last year. Has not been used since servicing. Overall, this reel has been very lightly fished. Mechanically 10/10. Cosmetic: 9.75/10. No dings or scratches on reel, a couple little scuffs on the reel foot from the rod reel seat. Line included, 40# J-Braid new. SW8000PG lightly used. Scratches on the reel handle from where I put my lures. It is mechanically 10/10 and cosmetically 9/10. Beautiful reel and I hate to see it go. Box, reel bag, extra parts and documentation all included. I paid $730 here on SOL. I would like to get $715 shipped CONUS. PayPal accepted. SOL Mods-I locked my previously similar thread as it seemed something was wrong with the post.. Not sure. I am hoping I am abiding by the rules here.

I replaced my old tacky stella 4000XGFI handle with this and found out about the 5 different washer size. For those who have read the amazon reviews some are stating to loosen the screw if handle doesnt spin and some complains that there are slight play. I hope this helps those who plan on buying or have bought this knob You need to mix and match the washers until you find the perfect fit with the screw tightened without any gap/play in the handle knob but yet it still spins freely. Made a video for this I hope this helps.

Listing 3 reels, pile is building again and I have some offshore gear I need funding for on the way. 1st is a like new VSX200, only a season old. Function 10/10, Cosmetics 9/10. No marks on the reel but the spool bottom has "surf rash" from sand please see pics. Filled with 300 of 40# SSv2 (Never registered, comes with box and papers can't find bag) Asking $650 shipped 2nd is a BNIB Stella 6000SWC. Picked this one up at the end of last season, been sitting in the box under my desk. BNIB only opened for pictures a 2020 Shimano Stella SWC 6000HG. Picked it up from Tomos only about two months ago. Only selling because I honestly don't really need it and with hunting season coming up could rather use the funds for other toys. Morning, It's been awhile since I've been on here and had to post. Had a very contentious divorce battle for almost 3 years. I was just finally able to get my fishing equipment back but unfortunately the X did not return my reels. I'm looking to replace them but can't really afford full retail. Looking to buy a Shimano Stella 10K or 14k. 2008 model 10K welcome. Also, a Shimano sphero's 10K or similar goosa. Just getting back on my feet. Anybody with anything laying around let me know I'll put it to a good home.

Yes, I have read almost every thread on this topic. Yes, I know that there is no all in 1 set up. Yes, I am still making this thread. My goal is to get close for an "AI1" set up that could do plugs swimmers and jigs on the cape cod canal while also holding down surfcasting around the cape, not going to do anything insane though. I am looking to pair a reel with my St Croix legend surf 10'6" MH 1-6 oz The year is 2020, and Japan has 2 hot new reels SALTIGA and STELLA. Do I need to spend 1000 on one? I can but does it mean I should? Saragosa? I want to hear your thoughts stripersonline! Suggestions for reel and size would greatly be appreciated. See you on the canal!
