  1. Title says it all. Doesn't have to be exact. 6'6'' to 7'6''. Lure rating 1-6oz (1-4 works depending on the rod, 2-6 works, etc)
  2. Brand new with tags. Unregistered. 7’ Medium Heavy model spinning. Rated 10-20lb. Gorgeous rod. Too nice for me to use. $270 picked up $300 shipped.
  3. I know feel and touch are skills to learn. But I am seriously having a tough time being able to feel out bottom using spinning set ups when fluking. Using 15lb test braid with 25lb leader, using 2-4oz bucktails or fluke balls...I just don’t have a feel for it. Was fishing the Miss Montauk Monday, rough conditions, trying to cast out and work my way back. No go. I’ve tried working on it at the jones beach pier where the current really lends to casting out as well as bay park where it’s shallow and calmer. I’ve tried it with a 7’6 nexus as well as a custom Rodgeeks 732 to see if there was any difference. I’m unable to cast out and feel/know when my bucktail or fluke ball have touch bottom to start my retrieve. Any advice?
  4. For sale is a nexus spinner. 7’6 model. Used twice. Washed down. Has minor marks of wear. Very nice light tackle rod. Fished it for fluke and blues. Price adjusted because it’s used. $100 picked up/meet up in Queens/Long island. Firm. Reel not included.
  5. Has anyone ever used a gf100j blank as a spinning rod I want to build a 10ft 1 piece for surf casting.
