  1. One develops many relationships in life. Some good, some bad, some lasting, some fleeting. Our relationship started when I was just a young kid. Our first introduction was when I was around 15, and even though our relationship didn't fully blossom until years later, it had always felt like a lasting one. We shared many good times, and a few bad times as well. We have traveled together; across the US, to Canada, to Europe...always by my side bringing the joy and the fun. We've shared weddings, funerals, family celebrations, countless milestones, and memories. I never thought it would come to this. We've been apart for 5 or 6 weeks now, except for one brief encounter (a one-nighter), and that didn't feel right at all. What has happened to us??? It might be time to say goodbye forever. Time to move on. Time to focus on other things. It's just not fun, satisfying, or enjoyable anymore. I'll miss you.
  2. https://www.boston.com/news/health/2022/01/20/tufts-medical-center-will-close-its-pediatric-hospital-after-more-than-a-century-of-treating-sick-kids/#:~:text=Tufts Medical Center will close its pediatric hospital in July.&text=The plan to close inpatient, the Floating Hospital for Children. After more than a century of treating sick children, Tufts Medical Center will close its 41-bed pediatric hospital in July and convert those beds to treat more adult patients. Tufts will refer children who need hospitalization to Boston Children’s Hospital, its longtime competitor and the dominant pediatric hospital in the state. The changes at Tufts, announced Thursday, will affect thousands of young patients and hundreds of employees. Tufts, located in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood, is among the city’s smaller academic medical centers, with a total of 415 licensed beds for adults and children. The plan to close inpatient pediatric services is a sharp departure for an institution that has treated acutely ill children since 1894, starting on a ship that sailed around Boston Harbor and became known as the Floating Hospital for Children. The changes are likely to be emotional for care providers, patients, and families with deep ties to what’s now known as Tufts Children’s Hospital.
  3. Biden is suffering from Alzheimers. He has some semblence to catch himself and claim he was joking. It appears the disease is progressing faster than I first thought. By the end of August he won't be able to read a script. Alzheimers is the worst way to go and my heart goes out to Jill Biden who is probably dead against him staying in the race at this point. To the DNC Joe is just a piece of meat and a placeholder for a second fiddle.
  4. I've been seeing a bunny lately in my yard looking like she was starting to nest. Then I stopped seeing her thinking she found a better spot. I saw her again a few times over the weekend and again last night. This morning I checked and found she did have bunnies and all 4 of them were dead with 2 of them headless. This made me exteremly sad. The poor babies didn't have a chance. Pete said it was probably a cat & I can see that happening. My dopey sister said there was probably something wrong with them and the momma did it. I can't see the mom killing all of them and taking the heads off two of them. Any thoughts?
  5. With all that has been exposed, not one has had the courage to offer a mea culpa. Not a single one. Some are now just lurking, some have just up and left and a few are still doubling down on their foolishness. But not a one of them has stepped forward to admit they were duped. I suppose this should not be surprising. I guess I had more faith in them than they deserved. Lesson learned.
