  1. Selling for a friend. 4 rod bumper rack made by The Surfcaster. Includes license plate mount and 3 additional new tube tops. Pick up 11795 Long Island. $125.
  2. Hi All I'm relatively new to surf fishing. I was visiting family in Jersey when the pandemic hit, got stuck here, and will be sticking around for the foreseeable future to help the family out. I plan on using all of my free time at the shore. I've caught the bug and am now addicted to surf fishing. I've picked up a few rods, tackle, all the standard gear and equipment, and just got my permit to drive on Island Beach State Park. The last thing I need is a rod holder for my truck. I drive a 2009 F150. I have cap on it, so I can't mount a holder in the bed. I'm ideally looking for a rack that I can mount/bolt on my front bumper. I do not have a front receiver. I'm hesitant to go with a holder that mounts in the rear hitch, as I'd like to have the ability to open my tailgate. *Recommendations on where to find one cheap? Ideas on how to build one to suit my needs? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
  3. Hi All I'm just getting started with surf fishing and am trying to get myself set up with a rack to transport my rods. Included are a few photos from the cap of my truck. Any idea what ski racks can be mounted to this sort of set up? Brand recommendations? Any info related to racks is greatly appreciated, as I've never had anything mounted on any of my vehicles before. Thanks!
  4. I am looking to buy a flyrod holder to mount on my JVX 20 Carolina Skiff. I saw a post from Foulhook concerning a rod holder he made but I can't find the post. Can anyone help me steer in the right direction? Thanks!
  5. Hey folks, I have for sale a "like new" Denver Outfitters Titan Rod Vault. I originally settled on this because it was an excellent and secure way to bomb around Cape Cod. When I installed this spring, much to my dismay, my Orvis H3 8wt wouldn't fit because the largest stripping guide carries a larger diameter than the inside of the the vault tube diameter. I called Denver Outfitters and they disclosed that was the one 8wt rod that doesn't fit (and since then, they've added that the inside diameter is 1.5"). If it weren't for this insurmountable obstacle, I'd be thrilled with this product. If you're interested, certainly measure your largest stripping guide first. The vault has seen about about a month of sun, no wear or tear, and has 1 small "Bote" sticker on it that could be easily removed. This model holds two rods. D.O. was good about it- they offered to take it back for a refund, but knowing what kind of box it came in, honestly, I'm not interested in rigging a 6ft box up to ship back. I'd rather offer it at a hefty discount of $250. That's $100 off their consistent price. I'm able to accommodate a local pick up, either on Cape Cod or in suburban Boston (Newton, MA). Thanks for considering, Mac
  6. Hi guys. Been rigging a Malibu II tandem for the kids to join me fishing this summer, but still looking for a few pieces of hardware. Wondering if anyone out there has some of the following (or similar) lying around: - Scotty flush mounts / bases - the type that bolts to the boat that I can slip a Scotty rod holder into. Circle and/or rectangle (244, 344, I think) - Rocket launcher-type rod holder (Ram or Scotty) - Ram ball-arm-ball (probably 1.5" ball, any length arm) Used is preferred as long as functional. Will consider anything else useful & economical for outfitting a fishing kayak! btw I do not need seats, paddles, or vests. Thanks for looking!
  7. Got a used Malibu II tandem for the kids to join me fishing this summer, but it has no rod holder mounts or ports. Wondering if anyone out there has some of the following (or similar) lying around: Scotty mounts / bases - any type that bolts to the boat that I can slip a Scotty rod holder into Hatches / ports - any water tight port for access to inside of the boat. Also, the big OK Malibu oval hatch. Flush mount rod holders - kind that recess into the hull Used is preferred as long as functional. Will consider anything else useful & economical for outfitting a featureless kayak. I already have rod holders, but could use more (or extenders, rocket launchers) if cheap. btw I do not need seats, paddles, or vests. Thanks for looking!
  8. Hello, I'm new to the forum but saw a thread from several years ago talking about a rod holder for a canal bicycle and wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction to purchase one? It's for my son's mountain bike and he uses a 7 foot bait caster. I'm looking for something pre-made as opposed to building my own. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  10. I have for sale two Harmony Johnny Bars that allows you to attach a variety of rod holders, electronics, and accessories securely to your kayak without having to mount them permanently using a few deck loops that attach it to your kayak's existing deck hardware. This is especially useful on the sit-in kayaks. One bar was never used and it has the original tags and equipment and I will sell for $30 + shipping. The second bar is used but in good condition $20 + shipping. Or $45 for both + shipping. Paypal preferred.
