I need a great pair of pliers for Salt Water. I am not terribly concerned with the price, I just don't want to ever buy another pair unless it is my fault (lost, traded for hookers and blow, etc.). * I have already considered the P-Line, but my fear is they are made in China. I will call P-Line Monday and ask where the pliers are made. Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Folks, I am a newbie and this is my first post, so if it is in the wrong place please bear with me. I haven't fished for years, but caught the fishing bug again. I used to drag a lure behind a trailer-sized sailboat in Southern California, and whatever caught itself I was happy with. That is the extent of my expertise. I am 12 years new to MA but don't have the luxury of a sailboat, but do have a sit-in kayak equipped with two rod holders and a medium duty spinning rod. Would you kindly recommend places where I can take my kayak and do my beginner-like saltwater fishing here in MA, preferably where I don't have to pay $$$$$ for parking. I am in Canton, so Boston Harbor and places south are generally within range. My intent is to park the truck, dump out the kayak and just go. Can you help? Thank you all, Herman

Hi all, Any of you use a backpack for surf fishing? I'm trying to find something that will enable we to be completely mobile (and comfortable casting). It needs a cooler as well and the ability to lash on rod holders, etc. There are plenty out there but I am hoping for a recommendation. I don't want a cart, I'm trying to go light and fast. * Any recommendation appreciates. Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a boat detailer in central NJ. And an approximate cost for an 18 center console?
