  1. If y’all could fish only 5 plugs for the rest of your life for targeting (stripers, blues, etc) what would it be?
  2. $75 shipped, these are expensive to ship. If you're local to Newport Ri, let me know and you can pickup and save. Size 41-41 or 7-8 Sizing is weird with these, but for reference I wear a 10 mens typically and they fit nicely with a 3mm neoprene bootie. I could stuff a 5mm bootie in there but it was a little too tight. Great fins for starting out freediving and spearfishing. Very durable plastic. Much more powerful than the shorter snorkeling fins: Here's some of what the Mares says: DESIGNED TO BE WORN WITH A 3MM NEOPRENE SOCK PERFORMANCE ENGINEERED FOOT POCKET DELIVERS PERFECT POWER TRANSMISSION FROM FOOT TO BLADE V-TIP TO PREVENT SLIPPING FROM SIDE TO SIDE WHILE KICKING
  3. should I be putting money into pre rigged swimbaits, or jigs and soft plastics?
  4. Hey guys, this cold snap got me thinking about how and what to store inside during the winter. I moved into a place with a garage last year so everything has been stored out there... I have significantly increased my gear this year and had always stored stuff inside before. I have close to zero room inside unfortunately so I only want to bring in the necessary stuff. What is recommended to not keep in an unheated garage? Are reels affected? Do rods become brittle? What about plastic swimmers and gulp baits? I live in MD so we are not talking crazy sub zero negative temps. Much obliged.
  5. I'll qualify this thread by saying I'm not a smoker and don't really hang around with any smokers so hopefully my observations are way off. It seems to me that 100% of the people I see smoking cigarettes litter their butts. On the street, down the sewer, out the car window, into the ocean/lake etc. - very little thought goes into the flick. Hell, most cars don't even make ashtrays anymore unless you order it. Not wanting to generalize entirely, I'll assume that somewhere on this planet there exists a percentage of smokers that properly dispose of their cigarette butts EVERY time they smoke (I definitely don't think it's in Manhattan) Since cigarette butts are 98% plastic and completely full of toxins, I'd like to thank the 1% (and hopefully more) of smokers I've never met who don't litter (especially since much of that plastic is bound to end up in our food stream at some point - especially the part going into the ocean)
