  1. They've finally lost their minds. And I've confirmed I'm dealing with PayPal and not some phishing/scam dirtbags So I update a credit card they have on file - mind you, I've been a PayPal business member for somewhere around 15 years, if not longer. After I update the expiration date on the credit card, their site tells me I need to give them more ID in order to confirm that I can make changes to the account. Huh? I ******* logged in with my username and password - I knew the credit card number - the expiration date - the CCV number on the back...and they still want proof that it's me? They have my social security number (business account) - they have bank account information - they have two different credit cards on file - there's been six figures put in and taken out of that account over the years. All the sudden they want more proof? So I shut down that page and go back to what I was doing. Each day I get an email from them (I confirmed, it's coming from paypal.com - the IP's check out, there's no malicious code or scripts or redirects...these are coming from PayPal, they have my account number, they even have assigned a "request for additional information" number to this "case". So I scan my NJ drivers license and send it to them - didn't want to - but they, like so many companies these days, are technically holding me hostage Then a few days later I get this email:   You gotta be kidding me - I can get a passport from the federal government with LESS than the information/ID's they already have on file  So I respond with the following: PayPal just made their way to the top five of my **** list TimS
