  1. You know what would be cool? A series of field recordings of stripers feeding in different waters, some still some with current, documenting them preying on different baits like crabs, shrimps, squids, and baitfishes, as well as different sizes of these baits and different sizes of stripers. I think it would be instructive and interesting like this one guy, in another thread, said: "I came across stripers feeding on the surface and they wouldn't touch my clouser! I was aghast." In response another guy said, "That's shrimp, in all likelihood, there's a fly for that." Well, there could be an app for that, too. An app of sounds. You'd need to do it with equipment that defeats the wind or on a windless day/night. Then we could do field recordings of various locations and the sounds there. Maybe it doesn't offer a lot of opportunity for self-promotion, but for those of you for whom enhancing your self-brand through eliciting polite adoration isn't the sole criterion in your selection of creative/recreational endeavors, it could be interesting, if only for producing a lasting record of sound at some of your favorite spots. Course, you'd have to stop fishing to make the recordings, which might make idea a non-starter!
