  1. Want to trade my custom Lamiglas gsb. 108 1 m. 9 foot medium. For an OdM evolution 9 foot.
  2. I’m planning to do a custom 10’ odm evolution 3/4-5oz. But it’s going to take 2-3 weeks to complete. I was wondering if anybody can suggest a 1 pc rod 10’ or 10’6 rod that I can buy that would be better than waiting to get this odm evolution rod. Budget is around $500.

    Hello, first off, im on the west coast so i can not get my hands on the evolution to feel it for myself, unfortunately we only have 2 authorized tackle shops that carry ODM and they dont carry any of the 1 piece options. 1 of those tackle shops is trying to get enough people together to order these 1 piece rods so they can get free shipping, so this may be my only shot to get my hands on one of these evolutions blanks. So my questions are: 1. how does the evolution handle its lower end of the lure rating? I throw 3/4oz bucktails and sp minnows although it would be mostly used for pencils. the 3/4-5 oz rating seems great but i would stay in the 3/4-3oz range. 2. Which blank is lighter between the 2? 3. This would be my first custom, is the evolution that much better than the genesis to justify the price difference? thanks for the help SOL.
