    I'm 2 months post spinal surgery, so surf fishing will have to wait. In the meantime I've been doing a little freshwater fishing. I'm looking for a baitcaster that is good for largemouth. I have a Shakespeare tiger rod to pair it with. Not looking to spend more than $30-40. I'm on the Nassau/Suffolk border and I can meet up. Not looking to do anything by mail. Thank you.

    I need a Shimano Baitrunner 6000d or 8000d. I would like a great amount of saving compared to retail. The thing can be scratched up. As long as it performs and will last a while im interested. I need it shipped to queens NY. I would look at similar style reels also.

    Hi, I'm looking to buy a new reel because i bought a 40$ reel from my local store and 1 month later it is not running smoothly and grinds a bit even tough i lubricated and cleaned it. I found a reel that fit my budget, its the Mitchell 300 pro. If anyone has any experience with it, tell me if its good enough for catching 5kg/11lb Atlantic bonito and bluefish of the same size. I would use it for spinning and jigging. My budget is about $80 USD, including shipping to Croatia. Please tell me if this is a good reel or tell me if you know better reels in the same price range.
