  1. Selling Daiwa Ballistic LT 4000D-C and 5000D-C Spinning Reels Daiwa Ballistic LT 4000D-C (BLSLT4000D-C) spooled with15lb Moss Green Power Pro - SOLD Daiwa Ballistic LT 5000D-C (BLSLT5000D-C) spooled with 20lb Moss Green Power Pro - $160 Shipped Both reels are in near perfect condition (10/10 mechanically, 9.5/10 cosmetically due to some water spotting on the gun metal areas and one or two wear scratches) The 5000 size reel comes with original box and paperwork. The 4000 does not have the original box. Will bundle both reels for $300 shipped. Prices listed include shipping. Payment via PP. Thanks in advance
  2. For sale is a Daiwa Ballistic 35-405B surf rod blank. Brand new with tags. Includes counter weights and carrying bag. Decided I don't need to build another surf rod to add to my collection. Rod rated 4-12oz. 3 piece is very easy to transport. Beautiful blank on a sunny day. $290 shipped contiguous USA. Here are some pics of another Daiwa Ballistic I built to inspire the rod builders out there.
  3. I have a partially built Daiwa Ballistic 35-405B blank for sale. It has an aluminum Alps reel seat installed ($40 reel seat) and shrink wrap grip. Textured grip like X-flock without the X pattern. You can cut it off if you wanted to install X-flock instead. It's setup for spinning. I taped on some guides and did a few test casts otherwise it's like new. Beautiful blank and cast great. I just have one too many rods therefore want to sell this for someone to finish and fish. Reel seat distance is 29.5". It's a 13'3" rod and I've found this to be a good reel seat distance. Rod rated 4-12oz. Includes carrying bag pictured. $300 shipped contiguous USA. $280 pickup Dulles, VA.
  4. Daiwa Ballistic LT6000D - Used once, like new. $200 shipped via UPS or FedEX Ground to the lower 48 only with payment via PayPal.
  5. So... With three kids at home and toys taking over the house, my wife made a rule. "One thing in, one thing out." Unfortunately, my toys are included. I just bought a Certate LT from the BST forum, so now I'm selling my reels. I'm two up'ping my wife and selling three reels as a bundle. Please read through for conditions on them. They are not perfect. I'm the original owner and I always rinsed my reels using freshwater after fishing. You may want to apply grease/oil. I just wiped them off with Penn reel cleaner and so some pictures show "rainbow" colors. Stradic sold. Selling Ballistics as a bundle. $320 shipped for two Ballistics. I take Paypal. 1. Daiwa Ballistic EX 4000 (BLS-EX4000H) Retail $210 - Bought from Cabela's. Spooled with 40 lb SpiderWire braid. Cosmetically 8/10. There are some visible scratches (see pics). Functionally 9/10. I honestly can't say anything bad about the reel. Knocking off a point because it's not new. 2. Daiwa Ballistic LT 6000 (BLSLT6000D-C) Retail $250 - Bought new from ebay. Spooled with 40 lb Power Pro. Cosmetically 8.5/10. See pic for minor scratches. Functionally 8/10. Drag is smooth and the reel itself is smooth, but I think line roller needs oil. Last time I used it, I heard some noise, but at home, I couldn't reproduce it. Knocking off 2 points because I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from. As I said, reeling in felt smooth and drag was smooth when I was working a big Crevalle Jack. 3. (Sold) Shimano Stradic FK (ST4000XGFK) Retail - Retail $210 - Bought from Amazon. Spooled with 30 lb Power Pro. Cosmetically 7/10. See pic for scratches. Functionally 5/10. Drag works fine and the reel itself works without a problem. However, it feels geary now. It started to feel geary two trips ago. I downgraded the reel to 'family and friends' use, but decided to throw it in the bundle. You can probably replace the main gears (if that's what's making it geary) or just use it as a spare for friends and family. I personally think that it has a lot of mileage left in it. Total retail: $670. I actually paid close to retail on all of the reels, if not more - couldn't find discounts at the time. Even on ebay, I paid close to retail. Now the pics...
  6. I have a Cabela's Verano 3500 spinning reel (clone of the Daiwa Ballistic) and want to do some maintenance on the reel. I can't even get started as I don't know how to take off the pieces that hold the spool so I can get to the lock nut for the rotor. On other reels I can just pull this off, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Photo attached of what I am facing. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks- MBoles
  7. Here’s a 3pc 13’3” Daiwa Ballistic I’m building for another friend. All Fuji components except for the reel seat. The seat is from D Blue if anyone wants to know. Built for daiwa saltiga 5000H using Fuji’s KR guide layout. All single foots in CC alconite. Enjoy for now. I’ll take better pics of it outside in a few days when it’s done. First time using white thread as a main thread. It’s the DEVIL!!! Lol
  8. I have one of these Daiwa Ballistic Rod Blanks (model number is SA-BS 33-405 B) and decided sell it since I never got around to building it... I was told this is the "better" early version that was made in Thailand. Still in the original plastic packaging but bag has been opened. "These rods are great because they are in 3 pieces but when you put them together they feel like one piece." On most websites these are listed for $350+ each. Looking to sell this for $250 including shipping, insurance and tracking.
  9. For sale is a brand new spare spool assembly for a ballistic 4000-D. Never used. Never spooled. Just came in. Sold the reel. Have no use for it. $55 shipped
  10. Wts Ballistic LT 2500D used a handful of times, 9/10 condition. 5.3:1 Gear Ratio. Spooled with 10lb JBraid in chartreuse. Just upgraded to the certate LT only reason I’m selling. Great reel for freshwater/ saltwater/ swimbaits. Sorry. No box or bag. I Did just put a shim in for linelay as it’s slightly top heavy but have not used it since to flatten out. $150 shipped PP
  11. Best in-class custom diawa saltiga ballistic 35. Built by Keystone Custom rods, formerly in PA. Additional pics on Keystone website. Made to showcase the Keystone brand potential. All the best Fuji components; trigger seat, titanium guides and tiptop. Weighted butt-cap system (diawa factory) with 29" to trigger. Perfect mid heaver for big fall fish and serious drum fishing. Excellent casting performace with 6-8oz. and bait. Subtle diamond decorative wrap above handle and matching guide wraps in maroon, metallic gold, silver, and red with xflock shrink handle. This is the finest conv. layout I have cast on this blank; titanuim SV 25 - 20 - 16 - 16, and N 16 - 16, with titanuim 16 tiptop. Total of 6 guides plus tiptop. Super light and super crisp. I have owned this rod since 2014. Rarely used and is in perfect condition. $425 shipped paypal Please let me know if you have questions. Best Judah
  12. I have two of these Daiwa Saltiga Ballistic Rod Blanks and decided sell them instead of having them Custom built. These are the good ones made in Thailand I believe. The model number is SABS-33-405B. These are still in the original plastic packaging. These rods are great because they are in 3 pieces but when you put them together they feel like one piece. On most websites these are listed for $350+ each. Looking to sell these for for $240 each including shipping, insurance and tracking or $450 shipped for the pair including shipping, insurance and tracking.

  14. For sale : Daiwa Procyon 3500 with 20 lb backing mono. It has enough line to be joined with 20lb power pro to fill to the lip of the spool. It also has a gold power knob. Cosmetically : 9.5/10 mechanically 10/10 Asking 85 firm shipped. Comes with box. No shims. Daiwa Ballistic 2500 ex model. But on the other side, the nut with the o ring seal broke off but you can probably get a new on from Daiwa. Also it feels a little hard to reel when cranking, not sure why probably needs lube and service. Anyways comes without box or shim. Cosmetically : 7.5/10 because of the lost nut and o ring plus ever so slight ding in the spool lip. Mechanical : 8/10 Asking for 100 shipped And then I have a Penn 712z sport for sale. I cut the bail and put a washer on the other end to reduce wobble. This reel works pretty good and I have caught a good deal of pan fish on it. Cosmetically 7/10 because it's old. Mechanically : 8.5/10 honestly I feel this reel is a strong 9 but I had to put a washer to make it bailess so anyways. 30 dollars shipped for it.
