I don't enjoy striper fishing anymore, so I'm selling everything. Located in Southern Maine. Pickup preferred, will ship everything free, except the Tsunami rod. Tsunami Airwave Elite 9'6" 3/4-3 2 piece. Excellent condition. Has the 'cracked' reel seat, which is common and is cosmetic only. See picture for how small it is. 9/10 condition easy. Applied electrical tape ambitiously at 30/40/50". Purchased new, used maybe 20 times. Pickup in Portland, or you pay shipping. $100 Van Staal VSX 150B. Purchased new this winter. Used maybe 20 times. Never reeled underwater, only occasionally splashed. Rinsed with freshwater after every use. Mechanically 10/10, visually 8/10. Shows some minor marks on spool and body, largest spot is on the handle base (See pictures). Includes Power Knob, standard knob, box, bag, and 30# Power Pro. $675 Daiwa BG 4000. Used maybe 10 times. Visually 9.5/10, mechanically 10/10. Like new. Comes with box and 20# Power Pro. $100 Shimano Terramar XX SE Spinning rod 7' Medium Power Fast Action 3/8-1oz. This was broken when I took a tumble. Broke off the first 2 guides, now the rod is 6'6". I cleaned up the last guide and applied epoxy to seal the end, looks clean and functions fine. $35 FJ Neil Supreme Surf Bag. Medium 5 tube. Can anyone please give me some action feel feedback when comparing the Mojo, Airwave Elite, and Star Stellar/Paraflex? In regards to their 3/4(1)-4oz ratings and 10’6” or 11’ models? Im looking for a “not-so-stiff” rod that will load a max of 1-3 oz and a shrimp/sand flea. Out of the three brands listed, which do u recommend and why? Thanks SOL!

Im looking to upgrade from my tica dolphin 9' with Penn spinfisher v to something 10'6. I'm thinking tsunami airwave elite or st croix mojo. Leaning a little towards tsunami because I want to put a new reel on and it'll save a few. Any objections. And any suggestions to a good reel pairing for either rod. In a perfect world of go vs but I don't think it'll happen just yet so something a little more economical. Was considering sheild but not completely sold on it and my price range is by no means restricted to that low either

Hi, I am new to surf fishing. I am interested in buying a tsunami surf rod. The question is which one? I am struggling to choose between the airwave and the airwave elite. The rod will be paired up with a Penn Battle. I honestly don't know the difference between the airwave elite and the airwave. I'd like to prevent my pocket from getting burned so I am leaning towards the normal airwave. However, I have a few concerns with both models. What is the difference between the airwave and the airwave elite? Do they have the same warranty? What length and rating would be optimal for places like Plum Island and Cape Cod Canal? Will the Trophy Series work well in the Canal? If the normal airwave works fine and does the minimum, I'd rather go with the normal model. I have a lower budget. I apologize if this topic has been posted before. Rod selection really is a massive headache.

Selling a used Tsunami Airwave Elite TSAWESS-882M surf rod. 8'8", 1/2-2oz, 2 piece (70-30 split). K guides. Pretty moderate action I'd say, maybe moderate fast. Weight rating is pretty accurate but the rod can handle a 2 3/8oz SS if needed. Great light rod for the price. Used lightly, in great shape. Couple little flaws to point out - the flexcoat above the reel seat is cracked. I think that might be a common occurrence on these rods - just cosmetic, no effect on the rod. I also found a little damage on one of the guide inserts. Don't know how it happened but it's only on the edge of the insert, not the part that touches the line, so it shouldn't affect the line. Paid $175 new, asking $120. Rod is located in SE CT, but I will be heading to the north shore of MA next week so I could potentially drop it off in RI or MA on the way. Will ship if I have to at buyer's expense.

Got 3 reels and a rod for sale. Pictures did not post in order of descriptions for whatever reason. First reel is aa custom Penn Slammer 560L Live Liner. Bought it NIB 2 years ago and have babied it like the rest of my gear. I replaced all the ball bearings with new bearings, put in a new main gear, gave the reel a full cleaning/service/greasing and is mint all the way around. The body of the reel has been sanded down to a polished aluminum for a sexier look and to get rid of some boat rash. All the black paint on the reel was sandblasted off and then recoated by SMI Coatings using Cerakote (one of the hardest ceramic finishes available). Mechanically 10/10. This reel comes with the box and is spooled with 40lb powerpro with a 40lb section of Powerpro Hollow Core to connect to a 15-foot section of 50lb Mono. This was a knotless way to add a lengthy leader to avoid Braid tangles while livelining. If you don't like it, just cut it off and use a knot but I have fallen in love with this technique and never had any line slip out of the Hollow Core. I'm asking $110 shipped or best reasonable offer. Second is a Penn Live Liner 4600. This is an original before the name was changed to Slammer but is the exact same as a Slammer 460 with the same parts. This one has also been sanded to a polished aluminum on both the body and spool. All the red is Cerakote and then top coated with KBS DiamondCoat for a gloss look. Mechanically 9/10. Spooled with 20lb Fireline Smoke, no box. Asking $95 shipped or best offer. Last is a combo (I'm willing to split if someone asks). Reel is a Penn Slammer 460 (NOT liveliner) that is mechanically 9/10 and cosmetically 9/10. Spooled with 30lb Sufix 832 in Camouflage. Reel alone I'm asking for 70 shipped. The rod is a Tsunami Airwave Elite Braid rod model TSAWEBS-701MHJ. Medium heavy power, 1-piece, medium fast action, 3/4-4oz. It retails for 140 but I got it at tackledirect for 110. Im asking for $90 shipped FIRM (have to account for the 1-piece length with shipping cost) If you want the combo, I will drop price to $140 shipped.
