  2. Looking to buy a Bow mount Trolling motor for my boat I recently purchased. I need a 60" shaft as it's a deep v. Preferably 24v, like a 70 or 80 thrustish. Looking to see if anyone has something they're willing to part with. I'd like to get something with GPS locking like ipilot if anyone has something but would get something as a holdover till then if need be. Located in north jersey
  3. Saltwater Island Hopper 46lb trolling motor with variable speed control that came off a Feelfree Lure 13.5. See pictures below and ask if there is any part in particular you would like additional visibility of. I have the pedal drive for this kayak and no interest in using an electric motor, so looking to sell this. Uses clips to attach to an existing rudder system to control the direction of thrust, also has a bar that one could attach something to to steer in the absence of an existing rudder system. Asking $300 picked up in the Bronx.
  4. Hey Everyone, I recently purchased a Motor Guide Xi5 Trolling Motor to mount on my 19ft Seacraft. I finally got around to pulling the boat out of the water and laying the motor on the bow of the boat today. My Bow is set up with a bow light and two cleats, one on the port side of the bow light and another on the starboard side of the light. Originally I was thinking that I would have to re-arrange the entire set up on the bow, but after I laid the motor up there I am unsure if that is still necessary. It would certainly save a ton of work. I pasted a picture of how the motor would likely be mounted on my boat. I am curious as to how the motor will perform if not mounted directly pointing foreward. I guess in my eyes, with the motor mounted off to the side, I see the motor causing the boat to track in a weird angle when put on things like spot lock. Anybody have a bow mounted trolling motor that is mounted off to the side? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Salty
  5. Selling my old town predator 13. Great stable fishing yak with all the bells and whistles. Asking $1,500
  6. Hi all first post here! I need the Minn Kota Riptide spot lock for my 20' CC Looking for advice on what type of battery setup I would need to power this... Like most I have a cranking battery and a house battery. Through my quick research it sounds like I need another battery or 2 (hopefully not 2). I'll also need to find a spot to hide these batteries as there's no room to sit with the others. Any advice would be great, clarity on what type of battery, how to hook it up, how does it charge, etc... Thanks! Rob

  8. Is there a way to hook up a regular (lightweight) battery to my old Torquedo? I don't want to spend $700. We just want it for tooling around the cove. If it dies, we CAN use oars to get back in.
