  1. Sold my hobie and have been searching for something a little different. I came across this solo skiff online and think I have to have it. There’s a place in CT that sells them and I hope to buy one. Only bad thing is that you have to buy an outboard too for about $1400.. has anyone ever used one of these? Are they any good? Look awesome
  2. I recently picked up a Solo Skiff. Have a 4hp Tohatsu on it. I made a bracket that's bolted to the carry handle. The bracket is curved back but protects the font of the motor housing. It has a cutting board installed on top over the cowling. With the motor tilted up, it makes a very comfortable back rest. I installed a square Hobie hatch in front of the cooler to give me more access. I have a first aid kit, spare collapsible paddle, hand pump, oops gear ( headlamp, matches, air horn, multi tool, Mylar blanket, handheld marine radio, cyalum stick) anchor and a 20oz MSR fuel bottle. How do you guys have yours outfitted? Am I missing anything?
