  1. Wts gear up 3 tube, near new condition, bought here but never used it. $150 shipped or $130 picked up near 20794. Prefer Venmo/Paypal f&f. Thanks gents
  2. Hi Guys, Does anyone make a decent waterproof plug bag for wading situations where spray and waves are not an issue. Kinda tired of my vintage Aquaskinz getting soaked through when I’m waded out in back locations. Maybe there’s a better solution altogether that I’m not thinking of. Thanks, John
  3. Never fished. Gear-Up 3-tube in like-new condition. Only markings on it is where I wrote my name in sharpie. Would like to trade for a nice 2-tube or a more compact 3-tube bag. Feel free to ask questions or request more pics. Thanks!
  4. Wts gear up 2 tube with front pouch. Light use, still in very good condition. I don’t use it enough it just sits in my basement. $190
  5. Hey everyone was just curious if anyone knew whether plug bags use regular grommets or spur grommets? specifically higher end plug bags such as commando, gear up, Mac etc... thanks
  6. So, for the last several years I've been using a Shimano Bluewater plug bag, great bag, based on a recommendation from scoobydoo. Does everything well, 10 plug tubes, double row bucktail/tin storage, side pockets and front pocket for supplies. First one got ratty and was replaced, current one has a seam letting go, and is in need of replacement. Those bags cost me ~$70) each, and I would buy another one in a heartbeat, but Shimano has updated their bags, and the new stuff is just not doing it for me. I ordered, and returned a bag I ordered online, everything about the bag was good, till I tried to put it on and even with the strap out all the way, it was up in my armpit. Thought maybe I could replace just the strap, since I liked the bag, but they sewed all the buckles and connectors, would have to cut it all off and add new hangers, or something. Not happening. So, "O Wise and Sharpy SOL" what's your favorite plug bag these days?
  7. Looking for a used ODM surfwave 3.5 bag, or something similar.
  8. Does anyone use a submersible bag for surfcasting/fly fishing? I often bring my 9 wt, and spinning rod out in the salt together, but I only have a nylon sling bag. I'm wondering if there is an option for plugging/flies that will keep my stuff dry, but accessible. Curious to hear your thoughts, really trying not to have two bags on one outing, but it seems inevitable.
  9. Is wading with a plug bag a pain? Can you wade with a plug bag in the winter? Is it safe to assume higher end bags more appropriate for wading? I have never owned a bag, I currently throw my few plugs in a plastic tube and stuff it into my fly fishing sling bag. It’s not submersible, so I can’t go as deep as I’d like.
  10. By the south jetty in Ocean Grove, 9am, black large Aquaskinz plug bag - I had a brain fart and walked home, less than 5 minutes later it was gone. loaded with bombers, sp minnows, some customs, rubber paddletails, etc.., lots of metal in the pouch. Its the bag in the photo, 'cept its beat up.
  11. Gear-up plug bag (two tube model) : $130 shipped No Tubes included. Has metal/bucktail loops. You might ask, "What's with the velcro?" well i just added some fuzzy-side velcro tape to the hook-side on the flap because these bags are so hard to open with that much velcro engaging. Just pull it off and you're back to stock. I am including the split ring pliers and hook sharpener as they are permanently attached (or drill out the rivets, and you're back to stock) Split ring pliers have kydex moulded holster. Split ring pliers have been narrowed at the tip and perform sooo much better than stock. Did I mention this bag is bomb-proof? The velcro is in great shape just need to clean the seaweed out of the hook side if you feel the need. I've got hours modifying and building this bag, please no low ball offers.
  12. Greetings! I am in search of a high-end plug bag (Gear Up, Flatlander, ODM) to get my season moving in the right direction. My three slot Supreme is no longer cutting it (it served a valiant tour of duty). If anyone is willing to part ways, I am paying! tight lines
  13. Good morning SOL! Used only for wetsuiting and used sparingly. Prefer my larger bag. Brand spanking new tubes, pork rind holder, small plastics or accessories pouch included. Bag itself has built in leader wallet, awesome area for bucktails and plastics, two side pouches and an added on shoulder pad. Solid deal solid combo. Lightweight and surprising value for this price point. Excellent drainage. No tears or excessive wear anywhere other than grommet light oxidation. Hard to find. $175 picked up shipping will be additional. Only trade for a Penn staal plus cash on my end possibly but prefer cash/PayPal.
  14. I picked up a blazer plug bag at a garage sale. It's a little moldy but some soap and a good wash should clean it up. Seems pretty cheaply built. Is it worth it to clean it or should I toss it?
  15. New blue and black 3 tube , detachable front pouch , padded shoulder strap , bucktail slots , belt loops , belt clips . 275$ shipped , PayPal . Lower 48 .
  16. Hi Everyone, I'm looking into buying a new plug bag. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. There are so many different ones on the market and a whole range of different prices. Apart from slightly higher quality, why would I want to buy a plug bag in the 100$ range when I can get one in the 40$ range?
  17. Interested in purchasing a high quality plug bag that has 3 or 4 tubes. I have been looking at the Gear Up 4 (~$210), but wanted to see if I could scrounge up a used equivalent in that price range. Any and all inquiries are greatly appreciated. Tight lines from Maine!
  18. I'm looking to purchase my first plug bag. It doesn't have to be crazy fancy and some wear and tear on it is fine with me. I won't be wetsuiting, so it's not critical that I have a bag designed for that. I'm trying to keep overall costs down as I'm gearing up for my first season of plugging so ideally this purchase will be less than $50. Thanks, Branden
