I'm booked to go on Yakee Capts Pulley Ridge LITE trip next year and I'll be going with my buddy, who doesn't have any boat tackle. Unfortunately, they don't rent gear for this particular trip. My buddy is a lefty, so I'm looking to get a used reel that he can use and I have two kids who are lefties as well, so I figure they can use it when they are old enough. Recommended reel for the trip: Shimano Trinidad 20 or 30 Shimano Torium 20 or 30 Shimano Talica II 16 Daiwa Saltist 40 50 lb braid Looking for open face (No levelwind). Picture with description of the condition would be great. I will consider other similar reels as well, as long as it's under my budget. Thanks in advance! -
This is an early Cyclone swimmer. He made this one with Lefty using his glitter. Lip is also powder coated. Pretty cool piece. Pics obviously can’t pick up the color flashes. Still looking for any Cyclone trouts I don’t have. I can add a kicker if need be.

Id like to try my hand at some metal lips but I really can't find much info about the lips, obviously a danny is a danny a pikie and a lefty swimmer are all their own thing but when you lay the lips on the table the differences are very subtle. If anyone could direct me to the resources to read up on this would be greatly appreciated. I just really want to figure a basic understanding of the differences and the rest I can slowly learn on my own.

Hi Guys, I have a large 1 of 1 Lefty. To my knowledge And from what I’m told there isn’t another one in this pattern with this specific belly. I also have a glitter Lefty pictured. I am willing to work a trade for one or either of these for the right Gary2. I am trying to complete my Raritan Bay set and need the Woodo, Tiger, and I believe the mid side surfster. i would also consider collabs or possible specials. Please just let me know what you have. Selling my spare VS150L. The reel was serviced Fisherman's Headquarters this past spring. While there I had them spool it up with 30lb Spiderwire blue camo. Reel has an upgraded bailed knob on it. Since being serviced I would say it's been fished maybe 5 times. The reel does have some rash and scratches but functions perfectly. Reel is China made, external counterweight. SN is 28###. $500 cash, located in MD(20855).

Just pulled the trigger on a second VS, so these need to find a new home. Reel 1: Custom Penn 707. Totally done over a while back, and I never got around to using it. One of a kind custom handle and knob. The handle is threaded to accept any Van Staal 250 series knob as well. Powder coated in super durable wet black. Ready to fish, just add line. $295 Paypal to your door or $275 cash pickup. Reel 2: 707 Greenie that I would describe as a "survivor". By that I mean: Not quite nice enough for a collector but all original and presentable / usable as a vintage reel.
