  1. 710 PennStaal greenie built by me. New bearings & drag washers. Used sparingly about a season and a half after rebuild. $110 shipped, (continental US).
  2. WTB: 705 right hand retrieve greenie. This will be fished so it does not have to be perfect looking. Just mechanically perfect.
  3. Looking to sell a nice condition Penn 704 Greenie. I converted it to manual pickup but I have the original bail arm. I was going to have it drilled but bought a VS instead. Looking to fund another reel purchase. Includes bail arm, manual pick up conversion ($25 cost), original box, manual, lube and Penn tool. Looking for $125 for everything included. Prefer to meet up so buyer can see condition but will ship on my dime. Located in Toms River NJ.
  4. Looking for anyone who owns or has used the new 9 Foot Diawa Coastal SP Spinning Rod CLSP902MFS, picked one up this weekend. Great price and love the fit and finish. Needed a shorter, lighter rod for open beach throwing bucktails, plastic minnows like SPs and lighter plugs and this seemed perfect. Now as to the reel? I have a Penn Spinfisher 4500, Also an older Cabo 60 and Penn Greenie 710. Thought is these all may be a bit small for the rod but if anybody has any experience I'd like to get your thoughts. It will be spooled with 30# Braid. Thanks
  5. Would like to get $45 for Penn 750ssm. Would like to get $25 for Jigmaster. Would like to get $35 for Greenie. Will entertain all reasonable offers. and Feel free to make offers as a package of all 3, 2 out of 3, or just 1. Buyer Pays Shipping (Shipped Items Pay Pal only) or Pick up in Monmouth Beach Reel Conditions Penn 750ssm - Used by me a couple of times each Fall season in NJ Surf for past 4 years. Paint scraped off in a few places but otherwise in good shape. Jigmaster - Bought at a garage sale. Told it was never used and it does not look like it was. Near perfect condition. Penn 710 Greenie - Paint scraped off in a few places. Penn Medallion is missing. Plastic spool (may not be original spool.) Mechanically sound and smooth and could be fished immediately, though it probably should have a thorough cleaning, lubing and basic maintenance. See other posting for 10'6 St. Croix Triumph (also Pictured.)
  6. OK, so I am a bit behind in gearing up, BUT my old 704 Greenie is giving me a tapered line lay on my spare spools. I had the standard teflon 'thrust' washer under the spool, but also noticed that the manual pickup can be moved up & down a bit. Going try an old thinner teflon washer out of my Crack kit - but any pointers would be most helpful !! Also on another note or 2 - 1) Is there any reason NOT to fully remove the bail trip setup ?? 2) And possibly grind down the trip setup from the outside of the rotor cup, like we used to do on the Crack bail rest ?? Thanks All ..
