  1. I am curious as to what some folks may be using for GoPro LEDs & mounts for night footage? - i.e. waterproof LED lights, camera rigs for the yak, and setups for surf fishing pics (specific brands and/or DIY recommendations).
  2. My son wants a gopro. I know lots of guys here use or have used them I swear it will not be used to be a fishing hero and no spots will be burned
  3. Hello Sorry to interrupt,I hope it's OK for me to post here, but I've been using my GoPro for about a year, and have started to become fairly active with it. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about video editing software, and I am currently using Microsoft Movie Maker (don't laugh!). My videos show that they could use some enhancement. Can anyone recommend a good, free download that is easy to use and can handle a native 720p format? Free being the important word in that sentence. I posted a sample video in another feed, and I know it could be better. I hope it's ok that I'm posting it here as well. TIA. _Scott

  5. Purchased a GoPro Hero 5 Session to start documenting my surf fishing excursions this coming season- I downloaded the GoPro free editing software, "GoPro Quik" but this software does not even let me add my own music. What editing software do you guys use to edit your footage? I am willing to spend a few bucks on a simple, easy to use software. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks
  6. I would like to trade three rods for another rod or other items that I'm interested in. I can trade individually or grouped. I can either meet up within 60 mi radius from Baltimore or ship. I know shipping can get expensive, but I won't charge you for shipping (And I expect the same from you)... I once sold a rod for $75 and paid $50 for shipping... But had to just go through with it, Lol. What I am offering: Shimano Teramar Model: TMS-70MH Condition: Like New. Bought it, but hasn't been used yet. Purchase price: $120 Reason for selling: I have another rod with the same action that I started to use. I do not need a spare for this kind of rod. Shimano Trevala Model: TVC-66M Condition: Very Good. First owner. Used 2-3 times. Purchase price: $130 Reason for selling: I found out that I like Medium Heavy action for bottom/wreck fishing from headboats, which I bought this rod for. St. Croix Legend Tournament Musky Model: LTMU69XHF Registered a few weeks ago Condition: Very Good. First owner. Used once. Purchase price: $225 from St. Croix website Reason for selling: Same as above. I like Heavy/Medium Heavy action for bottom/wreck fishing from headboats, which I bought this rod for. 7. So I have an old GoPro lying around and was thinking about getting a cheap underwater light attachment to take some videos from a boat. I'm thinking about attaching the rig to a line a drop it here and there. I won't be trolling with it. Definitely beats buying a new underwater fishing camera. Has anyone tried this?
  8. Is there already a thread for this somewhere? I'm just a hobbyist, but I enjoy making fishing video's (mostly just fishing video put to music - not instructional or interviews). I especially like the editing side of things. I use a GoPro and iMovie. Anyway, here are a couple of my more recent ones. Striper Charter - Chesapeake Surf Fishing - Portsmouth Island Spring Bass - Susquehanna River If anyone has any of their own to post, please share. I love seeing other people's work to pick up new tips/tricks/techniques.
