I am in the market for a SUP for fly fishing here in New England, specifically North Shore Massachusetts, New Hampshire Sea Coast, to the South Eastern coast of Maine. As you can imagine my biggest concerns being durability with the rocky coast as well as effectiveness out on the water in case of chop and wind. Using a kayak these days which is fine but would rather be standing to cast more effectively especially in deeper water and out on flats or shallows. Any feedback on models such as hard board to inflatables would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
Dare I ask - How do I buy the proper parking permit for fishing areas out on the East End of Long Island - in mid-October. I'm ok with the local rich people making it difficult to fish anything out there except crowded ole' Montauk - but just don't make it impossible for me please. I know all those other areas out there hold fish often.
Hey all, New to the forum and this is going to be my third season of seriously targeting striped bass on the fly and Im looking to spend some time on the cape cod flats. With that being said does anyone have any tips, I will primarily be wading or using a SUP board. Thanks in advance, Ctokowicz
