Looking to sell an Emblem Pro 5500 w/ a spare spool. Reel is spooled with 50lb braid if I remember correctly. Comes with box and paperwork. Selling because I just don't need it anymore. Cosmetically it is used but works great. $85 tyd / $75 pick up near Cape Cod. Cash or Paypal.

I must have lost the instructions when I picked this up last month. Does anyone have an idea of the spool capacity for 30 and 40 lb of 832 braid using the various plastic inserts? I see online that it is about 360 yards of 30 lb braid without inserts but I am sure that can vary widely. Separately, has anyone had any issues with the inserts? Getting ready to spool everything up over the holidays and I don't like the idea of putting all that line on or even using backing. Regards.

Just lost 2 lures to my bail closing today. Never had an issue since April but maybe because the cold maybe? It always used to be real hard to close via handle (so much so It taught me to close manually anyway) but I guess something loosened up or broke in to the point where it is very little pressure needed to turn hanfle a d auto close. Anyway looking for instructions to remove the bail auto trip on my Slammer 3 5500 to make it a manual colse. Also any talk of a bailess kit yet? I have very little experience see icing reels but it can't be harder than working on a 500k stay machine which I can do lol. Thanks in advance! -
For sale are 3 Abu Garcia 5500c3 / 6500c3 / Record #60 reels I no longer use. All three have literally just returned from a Factory clean / check / repair including lube and new drag washers on each of them. I'd label the condition of all three as Excellent. Very minor scratches. The 6500 label on top of grey bay is partially worn off. The Record #60 has some slight unknown discoloration of the thumb button. All of these cosmetic problems are shown in the photos which if anything over accentuates the negative issues - the reels are truly in excellent condition. A few notes. I am not looking to trade - I have more gear then I care to admit and want to reduce the stockpile - this is a cash and carry deal. I prefer local transaction to Middletown / Monmouth County NJ but will discuss out of area as long as buyer picks up shipping costs.
