  1. Could not make it away for a day of fishing this weekend, but was able to get away for a few hours yesterday and ran out to the Connecticut River. The water was at a very fishable level. It was just me, the fish, and a great blue heron (looking for handouts). The tally came to a number of big chubs, a bunch of smallmouth, and 2 keeper-size walleye. Dropped a few fish and had an (I believe) pike try to eat one of my smallmouth at my feet... No luck tossing any of the bigger pike lures I had with me and was sad to donate a big inlines spinner to the rocks on the bottom... But that is fishing! The sun went down and so did the temperature and I did not get any hits in the dark.
  2. I'm from Missouri, Northeast corner of the state that is and wondering is there any more like me here. I fish for large mouth bass and walleye mostly, but bream and crappie are welcome too. Who was that masked man? Son, that's the lone Fisherman! Sorry, I fry in the sun! I'm a newbie here, but it doesn't matter where you get your line at, fishermen are full of knowledge, just waiting to share!
  3. Greetings, I just joined and was interested in those who collect lures and what screw tails Bomber Long A's any one had. I have over 200 and I know I am missing 80+ colors. Bomber made so many variants on top of all the different color patterns. I am still missing a Pumpkinseed color.
  4. Fished last Saturday. My best walleye catches from kayak so far.
