  1. You know how they say things happen in 3s.  Well heres hoping that Nimmo is #2 in NY athletes who finally got their BAG then immediately OVERPERFORMED relative to their new contract.

    Brunson #1

    Nimmo #2

    Daniel Jones #3

Both #1 and #2 are looking like theyre underpaid right now lol

  2. Im not watching but he either had sticky **** on his glove, or he didnt.   If he did then he's ejected and suspended, i dont care what team youre on.  Whats the argument that they checked him before the inning instead of after?  I give no leeway to cheaters.

Getting hit by a bounced ball should result in the base HBP.  Why did they over rule it?  Was it a mets challenge?

The ball didnt touch him.  Not sure what gary and ron were looking at but to me it was pretty obvious it bounced and missed his back leg and the umps reviewed and agreed with me.  I actually watched like 3 innings lol

Todd went over it clearly in the post game. Circled the offending foot. Said he saw it immediately. He, Lindor, Buck and the ump were all on the same page. New rule since the pitch clock, used to be OK.

Ok so it was his front left foot i assume because i still cant see **** lol.

Picked up and dropped his foot. Now a balk with the new rules. If you noticed, the pitcher did it again to Pete, and instead of calling in another run, the ump went and warned the pitcher. If we would’ve given up this game I would’ve been pissed. As it was, he saved the kid a seizure or stroke, lol.

I watched the mlb replay in the mets postgame reddit thread 100 times and still dont see him do anything weird lol

So, do we know if the kid is in the lineup already tonight?

Good on Escobar for taking the high road so far.. he just seems “old” for his age. Maybe he’ll produce more in spot work going forward. Our bench depth just got better.

They havent actually announced a move yet.  Will need to send someone down or DFA Locastro.  Probably will announce right before the game and Baty will start at 3B.

I think because the offense was struggling early in the season he thought he had to do more,I think he’ll get betters as season gets along, still is projected to have a better year than 2022.

And pete is going to hit 80 hrs, projected anyway lol

  8. Verlander injury was always going to be till May, at the earliest.  Im not worried about max missing a start, hes not throwing 200 regular season innings this year or probably ever again unless he signs with a scrub team.

Wtf is up with McNeil, the other stuff i kinda expected theyll figure out the 3B/C/DH stuff eventually.

What I liked about the Weathers boy that his dad could not do is hide his pitches on delivery = very impressive.

Me thinks the Mets did not see the best of this team as they have played terrible and the home team got lucky because they are better than what they players  against them . Don’t bust Pete’s balls he’s ok to have a not allstar outing  now and then , I think Machado has the best arm in both leagues.

Theyre also missing tatis and musgrove.  The padres will be around in september.  2 outta 3 is always a win no matter how bad the 1 loss was.

  10. No way alvarez is going to come up and catch senga, or any of the other guys, hes just not good enough.  Throw him in at DH he cant be any worse than what they have.  April games v the marlins are pretty much as easy as its gonna get.  Bringing him up last year.  In sept.  Vs the braves was a lose lose situation.  If he doesnt hit this weekend then hes a bust.  Im not really impressed with him at all, hes just another in a long list of ryan thompson, jay payton, ochoa, lastings milledge cant miss BUMS until he isnt.  Seems allll the mets best homegrown guys were never really even hyped recently anyway (wright, degrom, mcneil, alonso)  Funny how that works.

Edit: looks like narvaez gonna be out 2 months.  Alvarez is going in ready or not lol

Vezco 3 cooler rack. 2 - 25 quart and a 90 quart. Comes with fog lights and a wire rope and lock that goes across all 3 coolers. Has a cutting board on top attached with 2 SS screws that can be removed. Comes with a standard double square pipe to attach to front of vehicle but you can add a 2” hitch. $350 pick up at Nassau Long Island.

Thats a beast of a cooler rack, and a little farther than i was hoping to drive.  Ill have to pass

  12. I watch nearly all the games on dvr.  Typically start a game live, put the kids to bed and do all that stuff then pick it back up from where i left off. Used to be able to skip 30seconds with the page up button and never miss a pitch.  Burn through the commercials and get back to live within ~30minutes of real time.  Now it only works on foul balls.  I hate the pitch clock i feel like how i assume it feels for someone with ADHD.

    Uncle Steve’s wallet will

need to open again , going to need a closer , Robby can hold that early but he’s past his longevity thru the season . I would not panic about it until mid season .

Theres always going to be a pauper franchise willing to trade a bullpen guy for a bum and cash in july.  As long as the closer by committee is average they should be ok.
