  1. Oops, Too Late I already spoke, no one has any doubt where I stand now. I like the idea of a drag weight it may be my best option. I need to either find a cheap cart or build one. The cheap ones look like they have plastic wheels. I would prefer something along the lines of a bicycle wheel or wheel chair that has less drag and more durability.
  2. Your input is greatly appreciated, honestly I have never even been in a Kayak, all of my experience has been with canoes. Kayak seemed to be the most portable and applicable for my purposes. The pond I bought it for is probably only about 5 or 6 acres so I wasn't looking for speed or tracking over any distance.
  3. Forgive me if I'm not asking this is the correct area. Now don't get jealous I just bought a Swifty 9.5 for fishing on a small local pond. Why you may ask, I need something I can pull on a cart behind a small segway. Due to the amount of wind on the pond I believe that skegs would be a huge plus since the pond catches a fair amount of wind. The swifty does not have a flat surface on the back to mount a skeg. What I am wondering if I can use 2 small skegs one on each side at an angle or am I better off to install a rudder?
