  1. Oh... I understand gonna defiantly try this at the pond
  2. Thank you so much! I will try this. When applying the grease do I need to take the reel apart?
  3. I wish I could keep this reel but i been practicing for a while and it still gets caught sometimes. I think I may have to part ways with this reel.
  4. Thank you so much! Yes during the cast the rotor is spinning so it’s getting caught on the cast. I notice that if the spool is high or up it dose not catch hit if the spool is low it will catch every time. Is there an instructional video on how to apply this grease? Thank si you much for the insight in the tightness of the reel. I thought it was a defect but your explanation made sense.
  5. I also purchased this reel brand new from a retail store and I really had high expectations because of the price. I’ve been watching YouTube videos and they seem pretty smooth. I’ve contact PENN through email but no response. I would honestly try to return this reel to get the regular one but this was the last torque in the store. I really don’t understand how the line is catching I followed all the rules about casting these reels and I seem to pick it up quickly at the local pond. Then I got offshore and things turned grim. I looked like a joke with this reel on the boat but I still want to try to be able to use it in the future.
  6. I just purchased a Penn Torque 2 Bail-less 7500 and it is not smooth at all out of the box. I see that there is plenty of the blue grease but it doesn't seem to spin freely. It honestly decently worst than my lower end reels like BG from Daiwa or my even my spin-fisher. Is there anyway I can fix this myself? Also can you guys give me some pointers in casting this reel? My main purpose of this real is use use on tuna trips here in Texas but I have lost three expensive lures from the line catching on the roller. I really would like to keep this reel because I love the Penn line up. I have all the line ups from the battles, fathoms, internationals, and now this Torque. Please help me. Thank you!
