  1. Right now, I catch fish at all times on the river. I'd take 2 medium rods. Topwater for one and a crankbait for the other.
  2. Thanks for the replies guys...much appreciated !
  3. Yes, nice work indeed !
  4. Hi All, I'm currently wearing a pair of sandals on my river trips, but rocks keep getting under my feet. I want to get an actual river shoe for the water and keep the rocks out. What does everyone have or recommend ? I was thinking if something like this: https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Huk_Attack_Shoe/descpage-HAS.html#customer_reviews Thanks in advance.
  5. Excellent line. It sinks though so its best for everything other than topwater.
  6. I think it's being discontinued, but if you can still fine one, Daiwa's RG-AB spinning reel is awesome. I have the 2500 size and love it.
  7. +1 on the 832
  8. The new 75 size whopper plopper is killer too.
  9. I just rinse with water and if I want to clean the cork on my rods, I use Simple Green. Takes the dark color off the cork and makes it look new again.
  10. Zoom makes a dark purple lizard that I've had good luck with too. It's called Black Grape.
  11. Red Shad Black Tequila Sunrise Plum
  12. I like a green pumpkin color or anything close to it color wise. Not a fan of a bare lead head.
  13. Wow...awesome !!!
  14. I tie a double unit and it works great. 15 lb braid to 8 lb flouro leader.
